Wash Guide

To ensure your Finden+Hales garments have a long and happy life, we recommend that you carefully follow the care instructions and recommendations to get the best performance and appearance wash after wash.

Wash similar colours together and always wash whites or paler colours separately from darker colours.

Use an appropriate detergent. Colour liquids should be used for brightly coloured, or darker garments.

Wash the garment inside out to help maintain the surface appearance.

For best results, gently re-shape cotton garments when damp.

Dry away from direct sunlight, which can discolour the garment

Do not use fabric detergent with polyester Coolplus® fabrics.

If printed, do not iron over print.

The washtub symbol and number represents the maximum temperature the garment should be washed at. Washing at a reduced temperature of 30 degrees helps maintain colour, fabric stability and also is more eco friendly.
A single bar underneath means reduced agitation, and a gentler programme: ideal for fleece garments.
Do Not Bleach Do not bleach: especially with inappropriate bleaching solvents (i.e. household bleaches) which can damage the fibres.
Cool Iron Cool Iron – prevents melting of some synthetic fibres and loss of pile/ surface on relevant garments: again great for fleece garments.
Warm Iron Warm Iron helps achieve optimum results.
Do Not Dry Clean Do not dry clean: especially if printed as the dry cleaning chemicals may damage the print.
Dry Clean Can be dry cleaned. The letter in the middle details which dry cleaning chemicals should be used.
Do Not Tumble Dry Do not tumble dry. Some fibres shrink when put under high temperature.
Tumble Dry Tumble drying possible. A single dot in the middle means that a low temperature setting should be used
